You have no need to travel anywhere—journey within yourself. Enter a mine of rubies and bathe in the splendor of your own light.

My story
I have been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over two decades. In 2024, I earned my C-IAYT (Certified Yoga Therapist) credential, followed by my E-RYT 500 certification in 2025. These milestones marked a renewed commitment to giving back to the community by offering accessible, therapeutic yoga instruction.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space where individuals can reduce stress, connect with their bodies, and cultivate inner awareness. As a strong advocate for “yoga for everyBODY,” I am particularly passionate about making yoga accessible to individuals with age-related conditions, limited mobility, and chronic illnesses.
In addition to offering private yoga and yoga therapy sessions, I lead therapeutic yoga classes for active older adults across the Bay Area and beyond. I also facilitate weekly gentle yoga classes in collaboration with community-based public health organizations and senior centers. As a regular instructor at the Integral Yoga Institute of San Francisco in the Mission District, I am honored to contribute to their Community Outreach Program.
Originally from Osaka, Japan, I have called San Francisco home for the past 30 years as a naturalized U.S. citizen. My work is deeply rooted in a desire to serve and uplift diverse communities through the healing practice of yoga.
